Breaking Records - Diary of a Quilt #4

This is such a cool quilt, I love it! All 25 blocks were sewn together in double quick time, then in rows and then all together. Having completed the centre, the borders were sewn on.

I’d originally planned to make the border 6” deep but when it came to it, I felt that was just too much. A 3” border is sufficient to show off the centre, allowing the records to float on their grey background and besides that, the quilt will finish at about 66”x66”, which I think is a good sized throw.

I forgot to take a pic of the completed top but here’s one of the rows ready to sew together.

And now I should probably piece a backing.
